LRL Education Tuition
Our tuition service allows us to expand the reach and impact of LRL Education beyond our alternative provision centre. We are passionate about supporting the most vulnerable students to improve themselves through academic success and personal development. We offer tuition online and face to face at our satellite centres, or 'Hubs'.
Our tuition programmes are underpinned by evidence-based practise from the EEF that ensures we maximise the outcomes of those we work with. We have an exciting offer of rewards and enrichment opportunities to improve engagement, and support the development of resilience, confidence, communication and leadership skills. LRL Tuition Hubs
(Face-to-face)
LRL Education offer in-person tuition services to schools. These sessions are delivered at the LRL Education centre, or one of our Tuition Hubs. Pupils receive high-quality, personalised tuition in English, Maths and/or Science, 1:1 tuition delivered in small groups. As part of our offer, pupils are given enrichment opportunities that increase engagement, motivation and develop their cultural capital.
LRL Education's Commitment to Schools:
Individual Learning Plans comprised in conjunction with stakeholders.
Daily attendance updates via key person.
Live engagement and progress tracking for schools.
Half-termly assessments and progress reports, shared with all stakeholders.
High-quality tuition in English, Maths and/or Science, supporting P8 measure.
Delivered by qualified teachers, with QTS.
All staff receive regular CPD inc. all statutory training in safeguarding young people.
All students provided with lunch and transport to and from an agreed location.
Sessions from 1 to 3 hours.
LRL Online Tuition
LRL Education's online tuition offer focuses on the academic development of students in English, Maths and/or Science. Tuition is delivered using MS Teams and One Note, to ensure that notes as saved for later use. Additionally, all sessions will follow a similar format which recaps prior learning, revisits pre-requisite knowledge, delivery of new content, assessment of understanding, consolidation of learning.

Optional initial assessment to support the target setting process.
Weekly progress and engagement report.
Half-termly assessments and progress updates, shared with all stakeholders.
High-quality tuition in English, Maths and/or Science, supporting P8 measure.
Delivery by qualified teachers, with QTS.
Weekly reflection activities, aimed at improving mental wellbeing and resilience.
All staff receive regular CPD including statutory safeguarding training.
Session drop-ins are carried out by the head of service to ensure quality.
Reward programme linked to engagement in learning, ensuring higher motivation for pupils and reducing workload for school staff.
