We operate to a highly controlled, inspection-ready standard, ensuring that all tuition is safe, consistent and accountable.
All tutors are recruited through robust safer recruitment processes, including enhanced DBS checks, prohibition checks, online searches at shortlisting and full verification of qualifications and references. A compliant Single Central Record is maintained at all times.
Safeguarding is led by trained Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who provide central oversight of all provision. We operate clear systems for recording and responding to concerns, including low-level concerns logging, chronologies and defined routes for external referrals, including MASH and LADO where required. Safeguarding is actively monitored, not passively held.
All tuition delivered in the home or community is subject to a comprehensive risk assessment prior to commencement. This includes consideration of the environment, travel, lone working and any specific risks linked to the student. Staff follow strict lone working protocols, including check-in procedures, escalation routes and clear communication expectations.
We maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and oversight across all delivery. Tutors provide regular session reports, detailing attendance, engagement and progress. This is supported by work scrutiny, ongoing line management and central review of delivery, ensuring that standards remain consistently high.
Each student completes a baseline assessment on entry, leading to a personalised plan with clear targets. Progress is reviewed at regular intervals, typically within a 12-week cycle, tracking academic development, engagement, attendance and personal progress.
We operate clear systems for attendance monitoring, including daily tracking and same-day follow-up on absence, ensuring that disengagement is addressed quickly and proactively.
Staff are supported through an extensive CPD programme, ensuring they are equipped to work effectively with students with SEMH and a wide range of SEND, alongside maintaining strong practice in safeguarding, behaviour support and adaptive teaching.
We work in close partnership with local authorities, schools, social care and other professionals, ensuring a coordinated, multi-agency approach that meets the full needs of each student.
Our approach ensures that tuition is not only effective, but safe, professionally delivered and fully accountable, giving commissioners confidence in both the quality of provision and the outcomes achieved.
