Our offer is designed to support students who are unable to access full-time education, delivering structured, personalised learning in the home or within safe, appropriate community settings.
Tuition is typically delivered on a 1:1 basis, allowing for a fully individualised approach that responds to each student’s academic level, needs and circumstances. Where appropriate, small group delivery may be introduced to support social development and reintegration, but only when it is in the best interests of the student.
We offer up to 15 hours per week, with programmes commonly including English, Maths, Science and Business Studies, alongside additional subjects where required. Learning pathways are carefully planned to align with GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications, ensuring that students are working towards meaningful, recognised outcomes.
All programmes begin with a baseline assessment, enabling us to identify starting points and create a personalised learning plan with clear, measurable targets. Progress is reviewed regularly, with structured reporting provided to commissioners, schools and families.
Our tutors are qualified, experienced professionals, recruited through robust safer recruitment processes and supported through ongoing CPD and quality assurance. Tuition is monitored through regular oversight, including session feedback, work scrutiny and line management, ensuring consistently high standards.
We maintain a strong focus on engagement, routine and relationship-building, recognising that for many students, re-engagement with learning is the first and most critical step. Sessions are adapted to meet individual needs, including those with SEMH and additional SEND, while maintaining clear expectations and structure.
All provision is delivered in line with safeguarding requirements, with risk assessments in place for each setting, and clear protocols for communication, reporting and escalation.

Who is this for?
Our tuition offer is designed for students who are unable to access full-time education or require a personalised alternative. This includes young people with SEMH needs, SEND, EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance), those at risk of exclusion, permanently excluded pupils, and students awaiting specialist placement.
We also support learners requiring short-term intervention, re-engagement programmes or a structured pathway back into school or college.
Personalised Programme
Programmes are fully personalised to the individual student, with delivery shaped by their baseline assessment, needs, interests and placement goals. While provision can include up to 15 hours per week, the structure, subjects and balance of delivery are carefully tailored rather than fixed.
Each timetable is built to reflect the student’s starting point. This may prioritise English and Maths, include additional subjects such as Science or vocational learning, or place greater emphasis on mentoring and personal development where engagement is a key barrier.

Quality, Safeguarding and Assurance
We operate to a highly controlled, inspection-ready standard, ensuring that all tuition is safe, consistent and accountable.
All tutors are recruited through robust safer recruitment processes, including enhanced DBS checks, prohibition checks, online searches at shortlisting and full verification of qualifications and references. A compliant Single Central Record is maintained at all times.
Safeguarding is led by trained Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who provide central oversight of all provision. We operate clear systems for recording and responding to concerns, including low-level concerns logging, chronologies and defined routes for external referrals, including MASH and LADO where required. Safeguarding is actively monitored, not passively held.
All tuition delivered in the home or community is subject to a comprehensive risk assessment prior to commencement. This includes consideration of the environment, travel, lone working and any specific risks linked to the student. Staff follow strict lone working protocols, including check-in procedures, escalation routes and clear communication expectations.
We maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and oversight across all delivery. Tutors provide regular session reports, detailing attendance, engagement and progress. This is supported by work scrutiny, ongoing line management and central review of delivery, ensuring that standards remain consistently high.
